If you’ve visited us recently (online, at the distillery, or at one of our markets) you may have noticed something: things are growing at Hunchy Hills. Quickly. Happily. Sometimes a little chaotically… but always with purpose.
Another Shed?! Yes, Really.
Running a small distillery has taught us that space disappears faster than gin on a warm Sunshine Coast afternoon. What started as a modest operation has steadily expanded, and we’ve now added yet another shed to the property.
This new space is dedicated to storage—bottles, packaging, ingredients, market gear, and all the behind-the-scenes pieces that make the magic possible. It may not be glamorous, but it represents something incredibly exciting: demand, growth, and a future that feels bigger than we ever imagined when we began.
Every new structure on the property tells a story of how far we’ve come, and this latest addition is no exception.
A New Face Joins the Business
Family has always been at the heart of Hunchy Hills, and we’re excited to officially introduce the newest member of the team: our daughter, Kendall.
Now, here’s the twist… Kendall doesn’t drink. At all.
Which makes her arrival into the distillery world equal parts hilarious and heart-warming. But if there’s one thing we know, it’s that passion, creativity and hard work matter far more than what’s in your glass. She’s already bringing fresh energy, new ideas and a different perspective to the business—and we have no doubt she’ll learn the ropes (and the botanicals!) very quickly.
We couldn’t be more proud to have her join this journey with us.
