THE STORY OF HUNCHY HILLS DISTILLERY
In the heart of Queensland, Hunchy Hills Distillery was born from a love of craft spirits and a dream of creating something extraordinary.
During their many trips to Tasmania's renowned distilleries, Glyn discovered his passion for the distilling process while Joanna fell in love with the taste of whisky. After moving from South Africa to Australia, they saw an opportunity to create a new legacy in their adopted home. Together with Glyn's technical expertise, they've created Hunchy Hills - where tradition meets innovation, and every spirit tells a story of their journey.
We consulted with a Senior Distiller from a renowned Distillery in Perth, who spent a year helping us refine our operational system and establish procedures for our Whisky production. His contributions were both highly appreciated and instrumental in elevating our operations to new standards of excellence.
